Licensed Occupational Therapists provide rehabilitative services to clients who lost essential life skills due to illness or injury. Occupational Therapists work with patients across wide spectrums that have suffered physically and mentally debilitating losses.
Using a whole body approach that address cognitive performance, visual acuity, haptic feedback, strength ability, and current mobility, Occupational Therapists are able to generate comprehensive programs that address all areas in which clients are functionally deficient.
The treatment plans are developed to recover or maintain the daily living and work skills of their patients. Through the implementation of these programs, the therapist helps clients not only to improve their basic motor functionality and cognitive abilities, but also to compensate for permanent loss of function in extreme cases. The goal is to help clients have an independent, productive, and satisfying life.
